Some important point only for real numbers

1- Denominator of any real number can not be zero.

Y= N/D     D0
Hence if denominator is zero then real number can never be possible.
So 1/0, 2/0, 3/0,………..are practically impossible.
i.e.       1/0= undefined.

2- Under the square root number can never be negative.

Y= x

x0

3- Square of any real number can never be negative.
Y= x2
y0 xR

4- Modulus of any real number can never be negative.
Y= |x|
y0 xR

5- Sum of two or more than two positive quantities always be positive.
Y= a+b+c  a, b, c0

6- Sum of square of two or more than two real number will be zero if all the real numbers are individually zero i.e.
a2+b2+c2= 0 it is possible when a, b, c =0

Example:- Find the value of  (x-2)2+(y+3)2 =0 then find the value of x+y
Solution:-                               (x-2)2+(y+3)2 =0
It is possible if & only if (x-2)2 =0     x= 2
(y+3)2 =0     y= -3
Then                 x+y = -3+2 = -1
